I chatted with a few people on the streets on Cincinnati, Ohio, a couple of days ago about their thoughts on the Digital Divide. Whether or not they knew the term, it still affected them in some way.
I learned a lot creating this video (like if I’m holding the camera I need to make sure heads aren’t cut off, and the ambient noise in public places is very loud). My first ‘man on the street’ interviews! But keep watching videos here on GovGirl.com - they can only get better

Government should be accountable, transparent, and open to engaging in public discourse; part of the process of eliminating the digital divide is finding new and creative ways to make government results more optimal and efficient for everyone. The number one solution in making these leaps and bounds in making government more accountable is by providing internet access for everyone. By enabling everyone to participate in the civic process, we will revitalize our country’s spirit for creative decision making.
